The pipe is what runs through, sustains, and conveys where I am now. It is energy. It is bone. Body posture and finding a balance here is a seeking out of the parts where a sense of safety is intertwined, yet independent, pulling and pushing within this temporality. A sense of safety comes from relationships and boundaries that move, fluctuate, stay, and tremble within a certain duration.

Sensing my surroundings with proprioception. I can never sense how far they are connected. What is the body which is balancing here sensing? Shift the focus on beings, truths, and stories that can be sensed here. In my practice, the process of sensing beings, truths and stories emerges as revealing pipes or digging-into the point where things connect. For beings, this can be a cast for a fractured limb; a grafting or a body extension (to where?). For truths, this can be (re)inforcing. For stories, this can stem (from) a new storyline. When I found myself looking at the pipe and its boundaries, when I became aware of my body trying to find its balance, the shared sense of safety that emerges raises questions. Who do you share this with, and how much do you share this?  And what posture do you have to maintain in order to sustain shared relationships and tensions?
