During the Music Theatre Festival at Jacobiberg in Arnhem, the graduating Music Theatre students presented their finals in the winter of 2026. In both the Aula and the Z.O.Z. hall of Theatergroep BOT, space was created for raw try-outs, unconventional premieres and personal performances straight from the creative process. Watch a quick recap.
The students demonstrate how they have developed over four years into makers with their own artistic voice. They compose, design, perform, sing, tell stories and consciously search for new forms of music theatre. The students present self-developed performances under the guidance of experienced professionals from the field. The result is a wide variety of performances that challenge, move and surprise audiences.
“I’m inspired by students who shake up my worldview,” says Sjaron Minailo, head of the Bachelor of Music Theatre programme. And by the way these students make us look at the world differently.
