Finals Music in Education Enschede

At Music in Education Enschede, both teaching practice and artistic authorship are at the core of the programme.

This is reflected in two main themes during the finals:

• A research project and graduation work that contributes to today’s world of music and music education;
• The development, organisation and performance of the annual Music Production by the fourth-year Music in Education students in Enschede. All Music in Education students contribute to this production, and the performances are attended by at least 2,500 visitors.

In January, five performances of the Music Production are scheduled in the Main Hall of the Muziekcentrum Enschede. In June, a presentation festival takes place in which all candidates present their graduation projects to an audience.

During both final moments, the students demonstrate how they have developed into musicians and educators who use music as a means for connection, creativity, development and community.
